After months in coronavirus lockdown, kids aren’t the only ones asking if they can go out and play. David Weinman, 66, has been fielding balls in his basement, optimistic that his senior softball team will get the green light to play at some point this summer.
“I don’t know any other way to live,” he says. “I still feel like a kid when I’m out on the ballfield. All of your problems melt away.”
