HYDERABAD: Telangana government has extended the Covid-19 lockdown till May 29. The following are activities that will be permitted and prohibited during lockdown period in the state: *Night curfew between 7pm and 7am. *All shops in green and orange zones (27 districts in Telangana) in rural areas will be allowed to open from 10am to 6pm. In municipal towns, 50 per cent are permitted. *Except movement of essential commodities, Kirana shops, medical shops, construction material shops like cement, steel, repair shops, agriculture implements shops, electric shops, hardware shops, liquor shops, government offices like Stamps and Registration, Road Transport Authority (RTA) are permitted to open in red zone districts. *Private offices can function in all zones with up to 33 per cent strength with the remaining staff working from home. *Four districts — Hyderabad and peripheral districts like Ranga Reddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Vikarabad — are in red zone. *No permission for liquor shops in containment zones, where Covid-19 positive cases have been reported. Liquor shops will be permitted to open between 10am and 6pm. *The shop owners have to follow certain guidelines of social distancing to prevent spread of coronavirus. *Liquor is not permitted in bars and pubs. *Government will take a call on May 15 on allowing public transport like RTC buses in green and orange zones. Inter-state movement on roads will also be banned except for migrant workers and stranded people. *Autos in green zones, cabs in orange zones (driver with 2 passengers only) have been allowed. *Schools, colleges and other educational institutions will remain closed till May 29. *Mining activities will be allowed. *Private hospitals in OP departments will be permitted in all three zones except in containment zones by maintaining social distancing norms. *Places congregation and gathering is totally banned during the lockdown period such as religious meetings, processions, cinema theatres, shopping, malls, gymnasiums, sports complexes. Gathering at places of religious worship like temples, mosques and churches remain shut. *Restrictions on movement of people aged above 65 years, those with underlying health conditions, pregnant women, and children below 10 years from venturing out (except for people going out for essentials or health purposes)

*Industries in special economic zones (SEZs), export oriented units (EOUs), industrial estates and industrial townships with access control have been permitted in all zones, except containment areas as per the MHA orders.
